Hello there, on behalf of the staffers and avid members I'd like to offer a warm welcome to the RPG Collection (or RPGC, as its often referred to, for short).
If you've ever needed a place to find new, interesting, original games, RPGC makes that effort to bring you the latest and greatest of the games out there. We're dedicated to keeping our boards neat and tidy to provide useful indexing with links to a range of different boards.
While we've had recent drawbacks, we're expanding all the time and now there are more opportunities for help and support to make your RPG better!

General Rules and Guidelines
Attention! To prevent any violation of our host's agreements, we strongly urge you to read the Proboards TOS before continuing to register. Failure to do so could cause you to unintentionally earn a temporary or permanent ban.
The punishments are not predetermined on RPGC, therefore meaning whatever discipline you receive is based upon the fact of how serious the offense is, how many warnings you have received, and whether or not you are willing to correct it. The most common forms of punishment include warnings, suspensions and permanent bans.
001. Any link (that goes to an RP) posted within the boards here the RPGC or in your signature area, unless in the spam board, must link back. That is for advertising, for graphics requests, for anything. Any time a link to a seperate forum is given, the banner must be present at that site. The exceptions are to be determined by the admins. You may do this using the provided banner, here is the code -
002. No fighting or bashing other members will be tolerated anywhere on the RPG Collection. Not only does it deter members, but it makes a forum an unpleasant place to be.
003. Never under any circumstances, advertise or ask people to join a forum through PM or email. That is referred to as spam and is well frowned upon. We have a super duper spam board for that. The PM system is for happy socializing between friends and should not be abused in any way. Note, please only advertise in the allotted sections, such as the advertisement boards, the spam board, and possibly the Looking For board. Drawing attention to a link in ANY other part of the RPGC will be considered as spam.
004. Whatever board you are posting in, we ask for you to consider proper grammar and punctuation. There is now no excuse for incorrect spelling with the introduction of the new spellcheck feature
005. Once again, Administration, Global Moderation and General Staff reserve right to take required action when a situation of rule violation arises. No matter how serious or insignificant, the appropriate action will be taken as these officials can and will reprimand offenders.
006. Signature images are not to exceed500 x 275 pixels. Anything taller or wider will be reduced to a link by a staff member and asked to be resized. This is due to the size of the forum and the amount of time it takes people to load things, given different connection speeds.
007. Excessive smiting is not allowed! When a person does something that merrits a smite, give them one. Same goes with exalting. Excessive smiting is unfair to the user and gives a bad representation of them as it does you when found out you're doing so.
008. Please post an image in any threads as a link-only (unless it is an affiliation banner in an ad.) This is due to the size of the forum and the amount of time it takes people to load things, given different connection speeds.

Advertising Rules
001. Our banner must be on the site to be listed. If it's not, your submission will be removed
002. Use the form we have provided. If your submission isn't using our form, it will be removed. If any of the required fields are left blank the ad will be considered unformed and will be deleted.
003. Please be sure that the site you are advertising is not already listed. To check if it is listed, look in the boards or use the Search feature.
004. The title of your ad should be the name of the site and nothing more. If it's not, the staff will edit it to be the title of the forum listed.
005. The content of your ad should KISS. So, keep it simple. No extra colors, centering, or codes other than what is provided. If you happen to add these, they will be removed.
006. Bumping is not an option for members. If your ad has reached the second page, and you would like it at the top, please PM a staff member listed in the "Who will Bump my Thread" thread (located here) and they will take care of it for you.
007. Please try your best to give as much information as you can for your ad. The system that we have in place has the staff moving the ads into the board where people will view it. It will be best for you to give us as much detail as possible, so we don't misfile your ad.
008. Only the admin (or someone appointed by the admin) should advertise their site. This will cut down on double ads and confusion, and will also mean that our banner will be up.
Disclaimer: This is a growing Collection of RPGs, so it may be possible some are very similar to your own. We are not responsible if ideas have been copied, and we prefer people not to discuss it across the forum. (Though, most ideas found on freely hosted forums are not legally copyrighted anyway.) However, people who do explicitly copy anything, be it images or writing of any kind, will be dealt with harshly. If you would like to file a complaint regarding something being stolen please PM an admin (Animus). They will help you from there.

KARMA
Karma is a new proboards feature and can be a bit of a hassle if fights break out about it. Which won't happen, right? Anyway, we can disable it, but we won't, coz Karma can be fun too. Its pretty simple, so go try it out on a member you like (or don't like!).
At the bottom of their mini profile on the left side bar, is two little links that read -[ Exalt | Smite ], Exalt will give Karma, and Smite will take Karma away. Karma is an indication of how popular or liked a member may be, but don't reserve your judgement on it.
POINTS
Points come from posting on the boards. You get 2 points for every post you make and it all helps in our up and coming rewards system. So in other words, its our shameless way of making you guys post more so we look better. And you can get stuff from it!
You can also get points, ironically from the Earn Points board, located in the Points Depo catergory. Its pretty easy, so check it out for some quick ways to earn.
REWARDS
When you have so many points, you can do alot of fun stuff around the RPGC, here is the current list of rewards you can carn by cashing points in the Spend Points boards. This is a work in progress. If you would like to see more things on the list, PM Tigeress or post in the Feedback board.
Advertising Cost = 300 points Duration = To the end of the month Notes: You must have a 88x31 minibanner to use this. Your banner will be displayed in the sidebar, in the "Paid Advertisements" section. No matter what day in the month you request your advertisement, all advertisements are reset at the end of every month so it's advised that you buy advertising at the beginning of each month.
Custom Title Cost = 250 points Duration = Forever Notes: It costs another 100 points if you wish to change your custom title. Custom titles may be removed if misconduct is performed on the RPGC.
If you want any of these items, just post in Spend Points with the items you want, and an admin will fulfill the request ASAP.
